The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the
public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a robbery by force
(purse snatching).
On Saturday, October 19, 2024 at around 12:45 pm, the complainant was at a shopping center parking lot located at the 15900 block of S. Post Oak, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that she was approached from behind by an unknown male, who forcibly grabbed her purse, causing her to fall to the ground. Once the suspect had the complainant purse, he got into a light colored four-door sedan and fled the scene Houston PD #1469730-24
Suspect description: Black male, 5’4 to 5’6, 140 to 170 pounds, blue pullover and light-colored pants.
Vehicle description: Light colored four-door sedan
