Minor Accident Turns into Robbery After Confrontation

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a robbery with bodily injury. 

On Monday, August 16, 2021 at around 10:30 pm, the complainant was leaving a convenience store, located at the 9400 block of Mesa, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that as he was backing up, he accidently backed his vehicle into a gray Dodge Charger, causing minor damage. The male in the Dodge Charger immediately approached the complainant while he was in the driver’s seat and demanded money for the damage to his vehicle. The complainant stated that he did not want to give the male any money until the vehicle could be taken to a body shop, at which time the male punched the complainant multiple times in the face. The suspect then reached into the complainant’s pocket, took his wallet and money, and then fled the scene in his gray Dodge Charger. Houston PD #1107559-21

 Suspect description: Black male, 30 to 40 years old, 6’3, around 300 pounds and wore a black shirt and black shorts.
